A Great Old Friend: Napoleon Hill

Living in a small town it can be hard sometimes to find a mentor who isn’t out for blood themselves. I find most of my mentors in the book s I read. One of my fall backs is Napoleon Hill. He is pretty old school stuff as far as perspective and experience. Madmen kind of era. but the mindset he comes from holds true and is timeless as far as I’m concerned.

The only struggle I have is how to incorporate what he encourages at times as a mother and a wife and a woman. This is where the prayer piece comes in. When a piece of advice is given and it just doesn’t resonate with me, but I believe I am supposed to hear it, I ask for a translation for my life today.

Hills book “Think and Grow Rich” is not so much about accumulating money as creating a rich life as a whole. It is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a way of living and working together to create a greater future for all of us. check it out, click on the book and get a copy. I read it at least once a year.
